When a seller drops their price, MyDeal compares it against its price history over the last 15 days. If the price is the lowest it has been in the last 15 days, we will show the PRICE DROP label on the product.

After we display the price drop label, if the price does not change after 15 days, we will accept the price as a permanent price drop and remove the PRICE DROP label.

You can see the previous price of the product and the date that the previous price was applied by hovering over the WAS $X label (see screenshot below).
